  • BIOLOGICAL SHARPS CONTAINERS

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide greater service to the University community, while improving compliance with federal and state regulations regarding sharps disposal, the Department of Environmental Health and Safety provides biological sharps containers free of direct cost.

To request containers, go to http://ehs.uconn.edu/bwc/request.php and indicate the number of containers needed and the letter that indicates which type of container. Click Here to view the types of biological sharps containers available.
