David has been with Environmental Health and Safety since January 2000. He holds a B.S. in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University, an M.S. in Microbiology from the University of Connecticut and is a Registered Biosafety Professional (RBP). David spent two years as a quality assurance Microbiology laboratory technician at a medical products manufacturer prior to attending graduate school. His responsibilites at UConn include biosafety and biological agent shipping training, medical waste management, biological agent registration and laboratory audit programs.
